TOORADIN FORESHORE

Public BBQ

This picturesque foreshore on Western Port Bay offers an appealing blend of recreation and relaxation. The well-maintained playground features a charming lighthouse structure that keeps children entertained, while parents can take in waterfront views from numerous picnic tables scattered across the grounds. Facilities include public toilets and ample shaded areas for comfortable outdoor dining. The adjacent boat ramp provides access for fishing, kayaking, and boating enthusiasts, though launching fees apply. Local pelicans frequent the area, adding to the coastal atmosphere. A nearby bakery serves meat pies, vanilla slices, and other takeaway options, while a cafe offers convenient refreshments. The location makes an ideal stopping point when travelling to or from Phillip Island, with enough appeal that some families have maintained annual picnic traditions here spanning decades. While not an extensive destination, the combination of playground facilities, water access, and food options creates a pleasant setting for an afternoon outing.
